Name: Raeda Lorre |
Bio: Raeda Lorre is the not-so-charamatic leader of Mercs-For-Hire, preferring raw action to a good plan any day. He began Mercs-For-Hire along with his best friend, Raynor Foxhound, in the hopes of seeing more action and fighting. He really doesn't care about money like Raynor does as he is only concerned when they can not afford anymore beer or alcohol. Raeda is a heavy drinker, constantly getting drunk and sleeping when there's no mission. To call him lazy would be unfair as he is really good at what he does around the Mercs-For-Hire building. Exactly what he does, however, has yet to be determined. Raeda's main strength comes in the form of his massive sword which crushes people with its weight rather than slicing them with its blade. Due to its weight and length, Raeda really has no style with the sword and lacks competent swordsmanship. At the very least, he makes good cannon fodder! Raeda truly lacks the qualities of leadership and had proposed for Raynor to be the leader when they had founded Mercs-For-Hire. Raynor declined, stating that, "It's much easier to screw someone over if you're not responsible for them." Raeda got stuck with the position, but mostly relies on Raynor to carry out the majority of leadership for the Mercs-For-Hire team, especially with paying the bills. The reasons behind his drinking is currenlty unknown. Is he hiding some inner torment that he can only relieve through the consumption of alcohol, a desperate attempt to escape the pain that wells up within him? Don't try to think about it too hard, people. The truth may be out there, but it's definitely not to be found within Raeda! |
Name: Raynor Foxhound |
Bio: Co-founder and Second-in-Command of Mercs-For-Hire, Raynor Foxhound is about as close to a leader as Team Mercs-For-Hire can ever hope to get. Raynor is truly a nice person, though it is hard to see through his backstabbing, lies, greediness. selfishness, and his naturally sarcastic flair. Raynor uses his fox-like charm, a natural ability of his people, to get his way and cause havoc whenever he feels like it (or whenever profit is involved). He is a sneaky person when not being too noisy, and has been known to complete an infiltration mission or two without being caught more than ten times. At heart, he is a brilliant strategist with great methods, but his greed usually gets the best of him, making any plan of his go sour since he modifies it to somehow work in his favor (though not always in the success of the mission). Raynor would like no better than to kill his fellow teammates and profit from their deaths. However, his laziness prevents him from doing that so he decides to try and profit from them while they are still alive. Raynor uses a wide variety of knives, swords and small handguns. When he is seen wielding any of these items, however, he must be considered armed and dangerous with the intent to kill and should be avoided at all costs. It is also known as a death wish when one gets between him and his coffee. Needless to say, Raynor hates idiots and has a policy to kill them indiscriminately, claiming that no jury in the world would convict him. As of today, none have. |
Name: Rench |
Bio: Gearhead of Mercs-For-Hire and the most levelheaded member of the group, Rench is responsible for the maintenance of the team's technological accessories. Highly intelligent and blunt, she is a young woman that loves machines and not afraid to speak her mind. Rench is always working and never really at rest; she always has to keep her hands busy with something and can usually be seen disassembling and reassembling anything she can get her hands on when bored. Her infatuation with machines make it impossible for her to understand people in general, making them very annoying to her. Her own saying is, "If you can't take it apart and put it back together again, it's not worth my time." She is not exactly the most fashionable of people and could care less about clothing or her appearance. In fact, if one were to take away her wardrobe, she wouldn't care! However, if one were to take away her giant wrench, then their life can be considered forfeit. Rench generally dislikes the team since she can't understand them or how they think. However, she likes Lou a little given the fact that he adopted her as his "older sister." Rench can be cold and heartless when it comes to people's emotions, but she really is a good person, She's just annoyed easily and tends to think she's surrounded by idiots. To tell the truth, she really isn't that far off from the truth. |
Name: Lou |
Bio: Lou is carefree, energetic, kind and on the verge of being placed in a mental asylum. He tends to be a danger to himself and others and is considered a public safety hazard when equipped with his sniper rifle, Maria (he named it that much to the bewilderment of the team). He likes anything that is flashy, bright, explosive, fast, destructive, deadly and gun-related. He can name any gun there is and give a full description of its capabilities without pausing for a breath. If not for his innocence and immature behavior, he could easily be considered a psychopathic serial killer. He has an unhealthy addiction to video games and tends to confuse reality with the video games he plays (mostly first-peron shooters). He is also diagnosed with ADHD and is on the verge of being declared clinically insane. He joined Mercs-For-Hire when he wandered into the building and decided to stay. After two weeks, Raeda and Raynor decided to absorb him into the team. Lou also has a tendancy to wander off on several occasions and not return for many hours. This is common, however, and so long as he is back within twenty-four hours, the team could care less. He is the ace sniper of the team, a decision made by Raeda. While Raeda calls his actions as, "Clever and perceptive," Raynor usually refers to this as, "Retarded and dumb." |
Name: Midnight Winter |
Bio: Midnight Winter is the beautiful, but bubbly, vampire of Mercs-For-Hire. How she joined is a rather interesting story: One day, Raeda took a small walk to scout out possible new members of Mercs-For-Hire for Raynor. When he returned, he introduced Midnight while she was still feeding on his arm. Raynor, seeing potential, welcomed her to the team. Not much info has been gained on Midnight since she is the newest member thus far. However, it is known that she has a very short attention span, is a kind person no matter her vampiric heritage, and absolutely hates lemons with a passion. As to why she hates lemons, no one really knows. All that Team Mercs-For-Hire knows is that she fears lemons are plotting on destroying her and her good name and thinks they should be purged from the land before they carry out their plan of world domination. Cute and crazy, a great combination for a vampire girl. |
