Here are the amazing webcomics that inspired Mercs-For-Hire and led to its creation:

El Goonish Shive - by Dan Shive
/usr/bin/w00t - by Chaobell
Sluggy Freelance- by Pete Abrams
TwoKinds - by Tom Fischbach
Exterminatus Now - by Stuart Edney, Martin Faulkner, Alan Graham, Garry Webber

As for the rest, these are the other webcomics that Mercs-For-Hire has found interesting and vastly entertaining:

Bridge of Thread - Silent Hill fancomic by Chaobell. A worthy webcomic with the Silent Hill theme nailed just right!
Down to Earth - Proves that even supernatural figures have problems with life as well!
Foxden - Foxgirls and high-quality artwork make a nice combination indeed.
8-bit Theatre - Whoever said that sprite comics were lame never heard of this one obviously!
Antihero for Hire - He's an Antihero and he's for hire. Funny adventures with even funnier villains.
Blade Kitten - Anything with catgirls is good in our book!
MegaTokyo - A great online manga and proof that Americans can come up with great manga!
Shadowscapes - A great addition to the realm of fantasy!
Ruins of the Fourth Wall - Eggman has always been my favorite, too... right after Tails, of course!
Wereworld - A strange hero dragged into the problems of an even stranger world. Definitely NOT for children!
Otenba Files - Great, natural artwork with an even greater story! Definitely NOT for children, either!
Fireball20XL - Website of the infamous Psyguy, a mentor of mine. Definitely NOT for SANE people!
The Trials of Temperality - Crazy webcomic by Matthew Wamboldt. Hey, we like it.
